Carbon 14 dating is used to determine the age of organic materials that are assumeds to be less than 100,000 years old. If something is older than 1000,000, there is no carbon 14 left. Dinosaur bones have been tested for carbon 14 and it has been found. Proving that those bones are certainly not millions of years old.
